Walker Yam: 100 scores for Open Field

In Summer 2014, I was commissioned by the Walker Art Center to create Walker Yam: 100 scores for Open Field, a boxed set of Fluxus-inspired performance scores. The scores “premiered” at the Walker Open Field during a public event called Look Sideways, Listen Close, where audiences were invited to perform the scores as well as write their own. The project was part of FluxField, an initiative of the Walker’s Education and Community Programs exploring the relationship between the Fluxus Movement and contemporary socially-engaged art practices.
