ABOUT THE WORK
Echo is lost inside a piano, trying to understand where she ends and the landscape begins. What’s her essence? What’s your essence? Paper puppets, found objects, sound, light, and text branch off from Ovid’s Metamorphoses in search of Echo’s source.

This play was my first puppet collaboration with fellow playwright and interdisciplinary artist Theo Goodell. We collaboratively wrote the script, built the puppets, created original music/sound, and performed. A 30-minute version premiered as part of PuppetLab 2014 at In the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre.
