Work-in-Progress Showing: In Which _______ and Others Discover the End
You’re Invited to a formal (yet informal) showing of my latest project, In Which _______ and Others Discover the End on Sunday, October 12, 2014 at TU Dance Center (2121 W University Ave, St. Paul, MN) at 7:30pm!
This project is a collaboration with contemporary performance ensemble SuperGroup, installation artist Liz Miller, art rock band Brute Heart, and performers Angharad Davies, Hannah Kramer, and Stepahnie Stoumbelis. We’re excited to share what we’ve been working on for the past year and have you be a part of some early experiments with music and visual design. We’d love to hear your questions, feedback, criticism, and suggestions, as we prepare for our Spring 2015 premiere. The showing is one night only and FREE, but space is limited, so reservations are highly recommended. Click here to learn more and RSVP.
Also check out our process blog!
As the ‘Process Correspondent’ for SuperGroup, Hannah Geil-Neufeld is blogging to give audience members access points to the performance of In Which _______ and Others Discover the End throughout the process of its creation. We are interested in how this collection of media might serve as documentation for the work, as an archive of the piece after the live performance has ended, and as a jumping off point for Hannah’s own artistic process.
This project is made possible by the Jerome Foundation and the voters of Minnesota through grants from the Minnesota State Arts Board and the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
